Students develop skills in areas of pharmacy practice such as computer order entry, pharmaceutical calculations, record keeping, mixing intravenous solutions, and compounding of products to be dispensed. Special emphasis is on product knowledge and learning detailed information regarding drugs. Externship experience in retail or hospital pharmacies is included. The employment objective is entry-level Pharmacy Technician.

Conveniently located in Chicago’s Loop, this Coyne College location offers training for its Allied Health programs including Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, and a clinical program called Medical Assistant.
